Superman Face Plant
I loved swings as a kid... often wishing I could just fly up and over defying the laws of gravity with a single bound. In the first grade I had to stay after school for a few hours because day cares sucked. I was playing with kids and we were swinging. I decided to jump and pull a superman, stomach flat, legs straight, face forward. I went for the run, then the plunge and I completely flew through the swing and landed on my face. We laughed.
I think the lesson is this: Life is good.

Blue Lizard
In kindergarten I stole a blue lizard beanie baby from Alexander during nap time on Show-and-Tell day. I was caught after saying it was Daniel Baker. I was sent to the principle's office and was told that I had to go to his office everyday until I returned it. I never did, because I had given it to my cousin Blake.
I've always been intrigued that we have to be taught what is good and what is bad. We actually have to learn as a child that murder is evil and sharing is nice. I think also we have to remember that although nice is different than good and that flowers have their dangers. Thank you public education.

"Finger Scar and Falling Stone"
I have this scar on the ring finger of my left hand. Its one of those scars that indents. It wasn't until a couple years ago I remembered how I got it. In preschool we liked to play this game where we would pick up a giant rock and throw it at a another giant rock that protruded from the ground. What we would do, then, is we would stick our hand on the bottom rock and someone would toss the other rock down and we would see if we could get our hand out of the way. Well... one day I didn't.
